• Account information: name and email address when you sign up.
• Purchase and enrollment data: which courses you've enrolled in, purchase date, and payment confirmation status. We do not store your full card or UPI details ourselves — payment is processed by our payment processor, which handles that data under its own security standards.
• Learning activity: lesson progress, quiz attempts and scores, and course reviews you submit.
• Community/chat data: messages you send through any in-platform chat feature.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as health, medical, financial account details, or biometric information.

• To provide access to purchased courses and track your progress
• To process payments and confirm enrollment
• To display reviews and enable community/chat features
• To respond to support requests
• To improve course content and platform functionality
• To send you course-related updates (you can opt out of promotional emails at any time)

We use the following categories of third-party providers to operate NovaCrest:

• Database and backend hosting (Supabase)
• Website hosting and deployment (Vercel)
• Payment processing

These providers process data on our behalf under their own data handling terms. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.

Some content in NovaCrest's Advanced Track is curated, organized, and explained based on publicly available university course material (including but not limited to material referenced from Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT, and Imperial College London). NovaCrest does not claim ownership or authorship of that original academic material — it remains the property of the respective institutions and instructors, and is referenced for educational purposes. NovaCrest's own original explanations, structuring, video content, and course delivery are our own work.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data:

• With service providers listed above, solely to operate the platform
• If required by law, legal process, or government request
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of NovaCrest, our users, or the public
• In connection with a transfer of the business or its assets

We retain your account, enrollment, and progress data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional data processing. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

NovaCrest is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email. Continued use of NovaCrest after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
